With more than 25 years of experience across accounting and financial services, Jane Purnell is an experienced accountant, financial adviser and Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) specialist. As Executive Director of Holzworth Partners, Jane helps individuals, families and business owners bring their accounting, tax, superannuation and wealth strategies together.

Jane’s accounting work includes the preparation and review of financial statements, income tax returns, business activity statements, tax calculations and related client matters. She works with individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs, providing practical support to help clients understand their financial position, meet their obligations and make informed decisions.

Academically accomplished, Jane holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Psychology in Business, a Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning, and has completed the IPA Program. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and a Fellow of the UK’s Institute of Financial Accountants.

Jane actively champions ethical and professional standards across the accounting and financial services industries. She currently serves as President of the IPA Queensland Division Advisory Committee and contributes to the IPA Council of Divisional Presidents. She is also the Responsible Manager of AFSL licensee Continental Wealth Pty Ltd and an authorised financial adviser.

At Holzworth Partners, Jane contributes to the group’s strategic direction and oversees finance, operations, compliance, and governance across its professional services businesses. She continues to improve how accounting and SMSF services are delivered through practical systems and strong controls.

Outside work, Jane enjoys rural life with her husband and cattle dogs, drawing inspiration from the land and her connection to community.
